Pour beer into mug until it's 3/4 full. Top off with the 7-Up and serve.
Trivia: Shandy is a popular drink in England, where young adults and light drinkers enjoy it in pubs. If you order one there, don't be surprised if the barkeep refers to 7-Up as "lemonade".
