Bloody Mary

2 oz. Vodka
4 oz. Tomato Juice
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1/3 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
3 dashes Tabasco Sauce
1 pinch White Pepper
1 pinch Celery Salt
1 Celery Stalk

Shake or blend with ice, and pour into an oversized glass. Garnish with the celery stalk, and add additional ice cubes, if necessary, before serving.

Variations: Almost every bartender has his or her own variation on this Sunday morning classic. Ideas include: adding a dab of horseradish, fresh or dried dill; substituting a pickled green bean for the celery stalk, using V-8 juice instead of plain tomato juice, or substituting lime for the lemon. Feel free to experiment and create a classic of your own!

Trivia: According to legend, this drink was invented in the 1920's to provide respite for hard-drinking writers who frequented Harry's Bar in Paris.
